The Stanmore Foot Course is aimed at orthopaedic consultant surgeons, senior orthopaedic trainees, orthopaedic staff grades and orthopaedic associate specialists. Delegates would be expected to have some experience of foot and ankle surgery to get the most out of the course.

 

A comprehensive overview is provided of forefoot, midfoot, hindfoot and ankle pathologies encountered in an adult foot and ankle practice. Renowned UK and International surgeons make a high faculty to delegate ratio of 1:2. The course is accredited by RCSEd who have awarded 18 CPD points.

The course was established in 1994. Past convenors include John Angel (RNOH), David Grace (Chase Farm Hospital), Dishan Singh (RNOH) and Nick Geary (Wirral Hospital). Nick Cullen (RNOH) and Matt Welck (RNOH) have been convenors since 2020 and were joined by Shelain Patel (RNOH) and Karan Malhotra (RNOH) in 2023.
